Speakers in 2013, from A-Z - 4. Lindy Cameron

Lindy is a writer of crime and speculative fiction. Her novels include the action thriller, Redback, the Kit O'Malley PI trilogy, and the mystery, Golden Relic, and she is also co-author of the true crime collections, Killer in the Family and Women Who Kill. She is a founding member and national Co-Convenor of Sisters in Crime, Australia. In 2010, aiming to publish the best in Aussie fiction, she started her own independent genre fiction publishing house, Clan Destine Press.


Speakers in 2013, from A-Z - 3. Sarah Billington

Sarah is an Australian writer and editor who likes to write stories with love, laughs, suspense and zombies. Her favouritest things to write about are those horrendous moments that come with being a teenager. Sarah was extremely accident-prone as a kid, so her cup runneth over with experiences of awkward moments to draw from in her writing. She holds a Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing) and Bachelor of Writing and Publishing. Currently she works as a digital editor at Lonely Planet and as a freelance editor for Month9Books.


Speakers in 2013, from A-Z - 2. David Arnault

Most well known for his septet of mystery novels known as The Kovic Files, David Arnault gained international attention and award-recognition for his 2012 novella, The Kōan of the Fisherman’s Wife. His most recent novel, The 3 Whores of Bertolt Brecht, reflects his long held interest in history and social justice. Auslit said of the novel, "This is a novel of love and compassion in the face of tyrants and madmen. It is a bold and ambitious prosecution of the patriarchy."


Speakers in 2013, from A-Z - 1. Judith Armstrong

Judith tore herself away from teaching Russian Literature at Melbourne University to become a full-time writer of fiction, non-fiction, stage adaptations of Russian novels, book reviews for newspapers, and articles in opera programs. Her most recent novel is War & Peace and Sonya (Murdoch Books) and her current project is Dymphna Clark.
